Philip Shishkin, the founder of Frontier Research Group, spent over a decade as a staff reporter and bureau chief of The Wall Street Journal. He covered European antitrust and business regulation in Brussels; ran the newspaper’s Baghdad bureau during the height of Iraq’s sectarian war; wrote an investigative book about commercial and political machinations in Central Asia; covered white-collar crime in Washington; and conducted other reporting assignments in the U.S., China, Afghanistan, Turkey, Ukraine and Russia.
Before Frontier Research Group, he worked as an analyst at Select Equity, an investment firm with more than $20 billion in assets under management, and at Long Pond Capital, a fund specializing in real estate-related industries.
